As the Associate Director - Business Systems, you will partner with business leadership and stakeholders to provide IT consultation, subject matter expertise, program/project leadership and oversight. You will work with global leadership, business users and IT core teams to develop global strategies, define requirements, leverage new or existing IT solutions, and develop project documentation (e.g. ROI, Business Case, URS, FRS) to meet the business needs. You will analyze and identify key business requirements to improve the business through the use of technology. The Associate Director - Business Systems professional must possess senior level skills in strategy development, program/project management, business analysis, business process re-engineering, and implementation of new business processes including risk management, communications, issue and conflict management. This individual will report to the Head of Information Management for Global Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design global IT strategies for areas of responsibility in collaboration with senior business leadership and provide oversight for the implementation.
Produce a 3 to 5 year IT roadmap for the areas of responsibility and devise an appropriate budget.
Liaison with senior leadership including facilitation of meetings and workshops related to strategy development, programs and/or projects.
Develop ROI, Business Case, User & Functional specifications and other technical documentation including translating client user requirements into data flows, data mapping, etc.
Senior level Program/Project management responsibilities for program/projects with multi-million budgets.
Overall supervision of business process mapping and reengineering and functional design activities.
Utilize project management skills to successfully estimate time and cost requirements for complex global/enterprise level IT systems.
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, contractors, and vendors as necessary.
Development of integrated project plans and IT strategies, including development of task estimates, identification of technical expertise requirements, etc.
Assess and manage project and business related risks throughout all aspects of the implementation. Remediate unanticipated risks to insure customer requirements and deadlines are met.
Manage user expectations, requirements, and relationships including renegotiating of customer expectations while balancing with the needs of the business.
Coaching and mentoring of personnel and project team members.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.
Strong Project Management skills, PMP certification a plus.
8+ years of management experience.
Must possess senior level knowledge of customizable off the shelf applications life cycle methodology, including written requirements, specifications, unit testing, implementation and related documentation, extensive experience in writing functional requirements.
Self-direction and strong business relationship skills.
Demonstrated ability to guide clients through anticipated business process changes and change management.
Experience with integrating applications using standard interfaces
Demonstrated ability to lead global cross-functional teams.
8+ years of progressive experience as a Senior Business Analyst.
5+ years experience Sales, Marketing, ERP, MES, Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution & Manufacturing.
Proficiency in and Microsoft Power Point, Project, and Word software packages.
Able to travel both domestically and internationally.
Comprehensive knowledgeable of IT applications.
Excellent leadership skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Must have demonstrated ability to deliver a project within budget, timelines and scope.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous consulting experiences a plus.
Pharmaceutical and/or biopharmaceutical experience a plus.
Experience with cGMP/Compliance/Regulatory, Computer System Validation a plus.
Must demonstrate the interpersonal skills necessary to collaborate with existing subject matter experts across many functions and utilize them as team members.
