CIBER will also sponsor an H-1 if needed and also can provide sponsorship for permanent residency. www.CIBER.com Job Description / Required skills: CIBER Inc currently has (1) position available for a Unix Security Analyst for a long-term stable opportunity located in Bloomington, IL.Scope of work: -Assisting/consulting with various project/service efforts to handle or facilitate UNIX Security related topics/issues up to and including user, group and account mgt-Address/Resolve UNIX security related issues escalated to the UNIX security problem management team -Develop and update documentation relating to UNIX security -Support and uphold security policies and standards as they relate to the UNIX environment -Provide guidance and assistance to UNIX security incident management and access administration areas -Conduct industry research in technologies and policies relating to UNIX security -Effective communication, engagement, and navigation of the organization in completing expected work assignments Qualifications and skills: -Experience in UNIX operating system administration and security to include the following capabilities: -Installing, operating and maintaining UNIX systems (AIX, HP-UX, Linux). -UNIX Scripting (shell, Perl, .etc) -Understands system auditing -Enterprise level administration and automation -Server hardening techniques, tools, and vulnerability prevention and detection Additional technical experiences a plus but not required: -Administration and security of WebSphere V5 and its components -Administration and security of Apache/HIS Other required skills: -Experience with systems/project development methodologies/lifecycles -Excellent interpersonal communication and problem solving skills -Ability to create clear technical documentation and knowledge-base solutions -Willingness to provide consulting for various project efforts to handle or facilitate UNIX Security related topics/issues-Conduct industry research in technologies and policies relating to UNIX security CIBER, Inc.
