This TrueComp Business Analyst position is within the Business Analytics team of the e-Business Information Systems department that supports the employees of the Global Sales & Service North America organization. The Business Analytics team provides overall support of a broad range of Business Performance reporting tools and data. One of these tools is TrueComp Incentive Compensation Management software. Your Responsibilities: The TrueComp Business Analyst, as part the Incentive Compensation efforts of GSSNA, contributes by providing configuration, installation, support and leveraging the capabilities of the TrueComp system, specifically the TrueComp Manager application to allow for calculation of Incentive Compensation for the GSSNA Sales force. Based on an comprehensive knowledge of the TrueComp Manager application and a working knowledge of the other TrueComp system components (TrueComp DataMart, Informatica, Actuate, Web Logic, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services) this job works across various the components and with various cross-functional organizations: Finance Commissions, Commercial Operations, HR Incentive Compensation. On projects may interface with External TrueComp Consultants.(60%) Analysis & Development - Work with internal customers & colleagues to complete TrueComp Projects that provide Incentive Compensation calculations / performance, measurement results, and reports. As a team member along with developers and representatives of the business area work projects through the various phases - design, development, pilot, validation, deployment and training of users. Drive the improvement of existing tools, reports, metrics and data handling. Bring value to the organization by application of skills such as: detail orientation, team leadership, thoroughness, analysis, documentation, communication, resourcefulness, innovation and problem solving.(30%) Customer Support - Support existing applications through resolving identified incidents, problems and minor enhancements. Respond promptly, proactively and professionally to all customer feedback, questions and problems. Feedback can include, but is not limited to - online feedback, phone calls, email and Helpdesk cases. Provide timely communication, escalation and facilitate resolution processes.(10%) Administrative Duties - Manage time effectively and establish priorities while working on multiple projects. Communicate regularly with project team members and actively participate in Business Analytics Team meetings. Keep various tracking tools (Feedback, CompuCom, Visual Source Safe, Sharepoint, etc.) up to date at all times. Complete KRONOS timesheet, expense reports and other necessary administrative tasks in a timely manner. Your Profile: Bachelor's degree (Information Systems or Finance) or equivalent work experienceEssential Skills / Experience include:++ 3 to 5 years of related Business experience in Finance, HR, Incentive Comp, IT++ 2 to 4 years experience with Incentive Compensation SW (preferably Callidus / TrueComp sw)++ Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and stored procedures++ Analytical qualities++ Excellent Verbal & Written Communication skills++ Willingness to learn new techniques and toolsExperiences with any of the following will be a plus:++ Team & Project Leadership / Facilitation / Conflict resolution++ SAP, Microsoft SQL Server, Business Objects, Crystal Reports++ Delivering User Training including documentation Contacts: Philips Notes Philips is an equal opportunity employer.
