Traveling Field Technician (POS)
Traveling Field Technician Will travel up to 70% nationally, must have own credit for travel expenses (reimbursement provided). Experience with POS, wireless and/or cable install. · May participate in interviewing technical independent contractors for projects. · Assist with coordinating and providing technical training or Q&A to other subcontract service technicians. · Assist in developing 'best practice' technical documents such as site surveys for RF, network, electrical and cabling. · Responsible for reviewing field site survey results for logic, completeness and accuracy prior to passing results on to customers. · Assist in bridging communications, transferring knowledge and assisting in the start-up of project based integration work. · Participates in team and project planning meetings and sessions As needed: · Good communication skills. Must display a positive attitude in dealing with requests and sharing information · Self-driven to stay current with new and relevant technology. · Relating to Customer, Vendor or Manuf., speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations; listens clearly and gets clarification; Responds well to questions. · Willing to continue education in related technical areas, as needed. · Must have a positive 'can do' attitude toward the varied tasks you are asked to perform. · Major credit card with the ability to make travel arrangements. · A+ Certification + minimum of 2 years of hands-on technician experience. · Previous experience with software, hardware and peripheral installations.
