Telecommunications Analyst
Description:The Telecom Analyst will provide day-to-day support of all Voice Telecommunications services for the enterprise network. This individual will work with the attorneys and support staff to maintain and ensure that the voice communication services are fully functional. This includes all aspects of moves, adds and changes as well as vendor coordination and management.
Responsibilities:
Provisioning of PBX Provide day-to-day end user support for all phone and telecommunications services Monitors the Helpdesk ticket queue for reported troubles and resolves problems in a timely fashion Coordinates all aspects of moves, adds, and changes related to voice and data communication services in a Nortel environment Educates and trains staff and administrative users; writes and updates documentation. Make all changes to systems databases, i.e. PBX, internal applications, etc Responsible for the maintenance and administration of various communications systems for optimal use Performs other related duties as assigned Manage various telecommunication projectsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Excellent customer service skills are required Proficiency in Nortel Meridian Option 81C and 11C programming. Knowledge of computer systems, TCP/IP concepts, software and hardware required Knowledge of IP Telephony and VOIP in a Nortel environment a plus Work experience with PCs and Microsoft Windows/Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills required Ability to interface with users and staff is requiredPosition Characteristics:
A high degree of professionalism and strong customer service skills are required. This position requires individuals to be team oriented and interface in a fast paced environment.
