Technical Writer (Financial Web Content)

We are currently seeking a 3 month Contract Technical Writer (Financial Web Content) for our Fortune 500 client located in the Santa Monica, CA market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day to day web content activities. Tasks include but are not limited to ·  Work with business users to provide original content based on scheduled topics.·  Receive topics, keywords, and phrases and convert this material into articles·  Content types will include blog posts, top lists, and articles for distribution.·  Develop/write original content based on specified topics·  Adhere to a strict deadline schedule for content delivery·  Research a topic and quickly develop a basic understanding Requirements for Consideration·  3+ years experience conducting technical writing activities·  Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills·  Previous experience in the Financial services industry·  SEO content writing experience and knowledge a plus Please send a copy of your resume to EricSpence@spherion.com or apply directly through Monster.
