Technical Support / Systems Engineer

Technical Support / Systems Engineer Covenant Technology Solutions is actively searching for Technical Support / Systems Engineer for a 6 month contract to hire position. We are a fast growing Managed IT Services provider for the greater Portland metropolitan area and are looking for skilled and qualified technicians to provide excellent support for our customers. Job Description Provide support to a diverse range of clients ranging from networks with 5 machines to 500 machines. Individuals will be required to work directly with client base to troubleshoot and resolve issues ranging from business applications to workstations and servers to networking. Technicians will predominately work offsite with remote capabilities, but onsite presence is required when warranted. Individuals must possess valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Qualifications Required • 3+ years experience supporting Windows Server Operating Systems (2000 & 2003) • 3+ years experience supporting Windows workstations (2000, XP, Vista) • 3+ years experience supporting Microsoft Office (2000, XP, 2003, 2007) • Time management skills • Ability to communicate technical details to non-technical people. • Ability to isolate and resolve issues quickly and effectively. • Ability to work with a trouble ticketing system (Connectwise) Preferred Skills • Microsoft Windows (2000, XP, 2003, Vista) • Microsoft Office (2000, XP, 2003, 2007) • Act!, Goldmine, other CRM solutions for small business • Exchange Server (2000, 2003) • Sonicwall, Watchguard, Linksys, Dlink, Netgear
