The ideal candidate will provide world-class application and technical support for Misys Healthcare clients who have software, hardware or operating system issues requiring a resolution. BASIC FUNCTIONProvides advanced technical support to both Internal and External Clients, primarily focused on the hosted (ASP/SaaS) Misys applications. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES•Responds to requests for assistance from both Internal / External Clients who are experiencing problems with supported operating system and/or hardware•Serve as main link between Misys Customers and the Misys Data Center operations team.•Troubleshoots problems with Misys-supported and non-supported products•Makes decisions on escalation and on-site assistance for any technical issue•Assists other TSS analysts in problem resolution sessions•Documents problem resolutions for reference by team members and clients•Provides solutions to proactively reduce help desk calls•Develops ideas to streamline processes•Coordinates with other internal groups on key projects and initiatives that impact the TSS organization•Provides training initiatives to Technical Support Staff based on new and existing technologies•Assist with call queue management Qualifications:EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS• BS Degree in Business, Information Science, Computer Science Software, or other relevant combination of training and experience• Familiarity with Healthcare IT solutions and Medical office environments •Proven troubleshooting skills;•Previous experience supporting data center ops and/or ASP/SaaS applications;•Basic scripting skills a plus;•Advanced knowledge of Windows platform;•Excellent network and TCP/IP knowledge;•Mid to High level technical certifications and/or training required (Microsoft, Cisco, other);•Strong experience in technical support or help desk related services; SKILL REQUIREMENTS•Able to work as a member of a team;•Strong customer service skills;•Strong problem solving skills;•Solid logic and organizational skills;•Good written and oral communication skills;•Strong inter-personal skills;Misys Healthcare Systems offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including holidays, vacation, medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending account, company paid life insurance and 401(k) with company match.Misys Healthcare: Experience, Solutions, Results
