Perform analysis of new and existing biometrics systems for the purpose of ensuring the most efficient and secure incorporation into the new customer Headquarters facilities in the most secure manner possible.2. Identify vulnerabilities in customer Biometric and Physical Security Systems and recommend proper courses of action for correction.3. Provide oversight, monitoring, review, analysis, and evaluation of overall technology security processes, including assessments and recommendations for purchase and acquisition of new security systems for the command.4. Assist ES-SM in establishing policies and procedures to manage a comprehensive Technical Security/Biometric program within the parameters established by National, DoD, and DA regulatory guidance. 5. Serve as the primary point of contact on biometrics for the command and ensures integration with Counterintelligence, Antiterrorism/Force Protection, and physical security disciplines.6. Researches, analyzes and makes recommendations for intrusion detection and access control systems designed to protect classified and sensitive missions, operations, and plans for the command.7. Serves as the technical architect for multi-level security systems operations for the command.8. Develop for approval security education and awareness programs.9. Conduct formal and informal security training.10. Assist with periodic self inspections of the Headquarters Security program.11. Provide inspections and site assistance visits throughout customer’s area of focus.12. Attend and represent customer at local, service, and national level conferences, meetings, symposiums, and exercises.13. Other duties may be assigned to meet business/operational needs.Supervisory Responsibilities:May provide specific task direction but does not have formal supervisory responsibility.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with a minimum of two years experience in one or more of the following: information systems security, computer network defense, or computer network operations. Five years of direct experience in information security is may be substituted for formal education.Computer Skills Operate standard DoD and Intelligence community Information Systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, Access, Power Point, Word, Project, and Google.Clearance: TS/SCIKnowledge Skills and Abilities •Must have the ability to work perform independently as well as in a team environment.•Must have the ability to be open to new ideas and changing technology.
