Technical Product Strategist 2448 Technical Product StrategistJob SummaryThe Technical Product Strategist shall support the Product Strategy departmental objectives in all aspects of strategy, execution and implementation of projects.  Typical projects include assessment of new intellectual property and technology opportunities, assessment of new business ventures, assisting with the creation of business and licensing models, and aiding plans to enter new product and geographic markets.  The position will be engaged in technology and intellectual property licensing as well as due diligence and analysis related to M&A opportunities.  This position has significant exposure all functional areas within the organization. QualificationsEducation Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or Science field MBA preferredExperience Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience Experience in gaming industry a plus Experience in evaluating intellectual property and technology-based opportunitiesKnowledge/Skills/Abilities Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact well with people at all levels within and outside WMS Well organized, able to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong critical thinking/analytical skills and a keen attention to detail Demonstrated ability to take initiative on technical innovation Ability to work with and make judgments with sometimes ambiguous or limited data Business savvy and solid skills of persuasionJob Functions Serve as a value-added business and strategic partner to WMS' Product Development Organization Evaluate and investigate new technology and intellectual property licensing opportunities Work with the Advanced R&D groups to coordinate their efforts and ensure that the strategic goals are met Collaborate with all Product Development departments to evaluate IP and technologies that will enable differentiated product design Participate in due diligence efforts for new markets, technologies, and product solutions Ensure that strategic product goals are maintained throughout the product development cycle Provide strategic decision support for various strategic initiatives  This job description should not be interpreted as all-inclusive; it is intended to identify major responsibilities and requirements of the job.
