Business Environment:The Healthcare Professional Services Organization (HPS) within the Cardiac and Monitoring Systems Group (CMS) represents a growing, dynamic, and strategic portion of the groups business portfolio. HPS helps our customers to effectively acquire, use, and manage clinical information by bringing clinical measurement and information technology together in the group's area of focus, which include Acute Care Obstetrics, and Diagnostic Cardiology. In each of the focus areas, we accomplish our mission by working with clinicians, information technologists, and administrators to:1) Implement departmental workflow information systems.2) Integrate departmental workflow systems to departmental data repositories and enterprise information systems.3) Educate clients on matters of departmental information measurement technology. Your Responsibilities: Job Description:Professional Services Consultant assuming the technical lead for all assigned projects. Technical responsibilities include following defined procedures and methodologies to install, configure, and test clinical application hardware and software, problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification, implementation, acceptance testing, client training and solution deployment. Project management responsibilities include personal resource allocation and interfacing with company and client managers. Financial responsibilities include estimating project cost for technical elements and assisting Business Development with proposal generation. Principal Duties:1) Complete working knowledge of current PC's and Server's as they interrelate with Microsoft Windows Server 2000, Server 2003, XP Professional, Terminal Services, Active Directory, Visual Basic. 2) Must be able to contact and direct customer on facility requirements and have the ability to go to a customer site and setup all PC and Server hardware and software.3) Formulate and execute a project plan using Microsoft Project and input from other Philips resources.The above statements are intended to descriptive the general nature and level of work being performed by incumbents. Your Profile: Qualifications:1) Bachelors degree in Healthcare, Health Sciences, Information Systems Technology or related field.2) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) 3) Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)4) Demonstrated knowledge in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting local area networks. Must be able to design, determine, and communicate all facility requirements to The Customer and manage to installation completion.5) Demonstrated knowledge of system/application integration and HL7 messaging.6) Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills.7) Demonstrated ability to work comfortably with remote management.Desired:1) Previous work experience with healthcare clients utilizing application in support of patient care activities.2) Certification or related experiences with specific information system technologies a. Microsoft Sequel 2000 or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)b. Citrix Metaframe or Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA)c. Health Level Seven Certificationd.
