Technical Consultant / Administrator

Overview

The Consultant / Administrator position in Apogee’s Tech Team is responsible for high-level technical design and execution, both internally and for client-facing projects. As Technical Consultant, the successful employee will possess the skills to interact with Project Managers and client contacts to confidently deliver technical recommendations to address business needs. As Administrator, the successful employee will run day to day operations in Apogee’s datacenter, as well as implement projects and enhancements as assigned by Apogee Service Architects.

Position Challenges

The Consultant / Administrator position is critical to overall technical project flow, as well as efficient and profitable service delivery. Specific challenges on which the successful employee is expected to deliver include:

·         Continually identifying technical and procedural enhancements to Apogee’s service delivery platforms to boost service efficiency and scalability

·         Responding to client or Account Manager requests with clear, confident technical recommendations and solutions

·         Ensuring the highest level of performance, security, and manageability of client and internal technology services

The successful employee in this role will show strength in the following areas:

·         Extremely strong technical abilities across a broad range of business technologies

·         Strong organizational skills with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously

·         Self-starter requiring a minimum of managerial oversight to remain focused and on task

·         Ability to serve as a valuable technical resource, both internally for Tech Team members and externally for client requests and questions.
