Description:

The Technical Analyst (TA) will primarily be responsible for the troubleshooting, support, and monitoring of Captiva Input Accel modules, including Dispatcher, and the associated user training. No travel is required. 

 

Requirements:Troubleshoot the Input Accel Scanning /Dispatcher capture system on a day to day basis.Monitor the Input Accel Supervisor module and the Event logs to ensure proper and expeditious batch movement through the system. Maintain and support all machines running Input Accel unattended modules; establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule on those machines.Maintain an Activity Log, which documents any problem(s) encountered and will describe fully the resulting solution(s). Interact with Input Accel support staff to resolve technical issues.Provide possible solutions to upgrade existing systems and modulesInteract with Input Accel sales representatives to provide price estimates for upgrades.Keep abreast of Input Accel software for future upgrades.Knowledge of Electronic Submission Gateway software such as Cyclone is highly desirable.Knowledge of HL7 standards and XML schema related to regulatory product submissions is highly desirable.5 years with database management5 years experience with software enhancements5 years experience with Captiva Input Accel administration

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

This position requires significant customer interaction and in many cases the applicant must provide functional and technical support to system users, answer client questions regarding system functionality, respond to special requests, log trouble reports, and investigate and resolve client issues in real time.



The applicant is expected to learn the business processes of the client’s scientific staff, anticipate and/or identify customer needs, and develop business process improvements through the use of our technology. The applicant must be able to analyze end user requirements and incorporate those needs into an approved business process. The applicant is expected to build a relationship with the customer and to present ideas in user-friendly language.

 

Security Clearance:

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 Security Clearance.  Secret Clearance preferred
