Team Lead

CGI Federal, a wholly owned subsidiary of CGI and industry leader in providing Clinical Audit Services to pubic and commercial healthcare insurance payers throughout the US, has an opening for a Team Lead within in its Outpatient and Professional Audit Team. Working from a local CGI Federal office or from home, the Team Lead will be responsible for managing and directing a team of healthcare insurance claims auditors to ensure production metrics are achieved and quality standards meet or exceed the healthcare payer's expectations. To accomplish these objectives, the Team Lead must be knowledgeable of healthcare insurance claims auditing and recovery methodologies, as well as the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines. In addition, the incumbent will manage edit development as well as the review of potentially improperly paid claims for payment recovery. To qualify for this challenging role, applicants must have a minimum of seven years of outpatient/professional coding or auditing experience; previous supervisory experience; thorough knowledge of outpatient, professional and allied medical insurance claims billing and processing; possess an active RN license and AAPC credential(s). This position might require travel. .
