Task Order Manager/Writer

Job Title: Task Order Proposal Writer/Manager

 

Job Location: Chevy Chase, MD

 

Overview: Abacus Technology is in need of a Task Order Writer/Manager to work with prime/subcontractors in responding to technical task orders for Department of Defense customers.  This is a full-time position.

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain relationship with prime contractors.  Review task orders as released and determine best strategy.  Coordinate with the prime contractors for bid/no bid decisions.  Develop, adapt, and polish capabilities and past performance write-ups for selection in final proposal response within a tight turnaround timeline.  Identify resources necessary to accomplish proposal response.  Coordinate with the cost centers for resources to assist in proposal response.  Manage and write proposal responses in conjunction with prime contractors. 

 

Qualifications: 5+ years experience.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Experience in an IT discipline such as NOSC, network engineering, information assurance, help desk, or O&M.  Military background or experience supporting DOD customers including Army and Air Force.  Extensive knowledge of DoD regulations and guidelines.  Experience in IDIQ technical task order management, coordination, and response.  Understanding of IDIQ response environment including typically short turnaround periods.
