Job Category:Data and Databases Primary Location:USA-VA: VIRGINIA-ARLINGTONSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Standard Employee Status:RegularJob Posting: 2008-09-10Description: Excellent opportunity to join CSC in supporting the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Information Technology Infrastructure Program!Hiring for this position is contingent upon contract award anticipated in the July/August 2008 timeframe. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experiencing supporting U.S. Department of Homeland Security/TSA. Base of operations will be in Arlington, VA but opportunities will be available for work locations throughout the Greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. Essential Job Functions Manage a set of Software Development operational processes related to ITIL processes. Provides CMMI project management support. Analyzes project schedules, critical path, resource loading. Leads and facilitates, using accepted project management/integrated scheduling techniques, Coordinates with management/project manager to develop a corrective action plan for performance variances. Leads the integration and schedule impact analysis of complex and/or multiple schedule changes. Oversees configuration control of integrated CMMI program plans and schedules. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred Two or more years of experience in database design, administration, or maintenance Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures Experience working with multiple logical entity modeling techniques Experience working with database creation techniques Experience working with relational databases Other Qualifications Good analytical and problem solving skills Good programming skills for database management and general software Good communication skills for providing documentation to support personnel, customers, and managers Good technical infrastructure design skills Ability to work in a team environment Willingness to travel Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:Secret Create Success
