This position will assist project management personnel to develop and

implement change and configuration management processes and

procedures. Once implemented, responsibilities include ensuring the

integrity of the implemented change and configuration management

processes and procedures, and analyzing those processes to identify

improvements. You will process and review change and configuration

documentation; track configuration items; assist in the coordination

of Change Control Board (CCB) agendas and minutes; audit change

requests and affected configuration items; initiate corrective action

when discrepancies in change management and configuration management

processes are identified; ensure closure of change and configuration

management activities, tests and training artifacts, and facilitate

related activities. This position is based in Lincoln, NE.

 

Knowledge:

 

The essential software skills are Microsoft Suite skills (i.e., Word,

Excel, Outlook, Share Point). Experience using Microsoft's Visual

Studio/Team Foundation Server is a plus. You will be responsible for

administering effective controls over change and configuration

management that are instituted and maintained through ongoing analysis

and review of processes and procedures. Must be proficient with

various general programming techniques. NAS is seeking individuals

with a demonstrated background in processing systems, testing and

training.

 

Abilities:

 

Professional written and oral communication skills are necessary. This

position must be able to follow established processes and procedures

with minimal oversight, while working in an extremely dynamic

environment where numerous project teams are conducting coordinated

activities. The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced

in preparing for and facilitating meetings comprised of customers and

business partners in a competent and professional manner, and be able

to interact with customers to ensure their needs and expectations are

exceeded.

 

Education and/or Experience:

 

Two-year degree. A one to three year background in of Medicare or related

experience is a plus.
