Certification with any major VTL product preferred. Design and support skills in a Legato backup environment on both SUN and Intel platforms. Design and implementation skillis in VTL deployment in large open systems environment using SUN/STK tape libraries. Design, implementation, and support skills in SAN and storage technologies primarily with EMC and NetApp hardware/software. In addition, engineers should have knowledge of other SAN, storage and backup/restore infrastructures from other leading vendors. Other responsibilities include business case development, storage asset management, standards development, quote generation and review, and budget planning and review. Company: Modis, Inc.
