Systems Monitoring Analyst - B Day Shift

Provides real time responses to Operational support engineers regarding network faults on core components. Provides on-line knowledgeable assistance and coordination; facilitates efforts with in-house engineers, field engineers, service providers, vendors and other outside support organizations. Position Requirements: Functional / Technical Skills/Knowledge: • Ability to make critical decisions under stressful circumstances. • Ability to work independently with some supervision. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Basic knowledge of Routers and Network Protocols (Cisco). • Basic knowledge of monitoring tools. • Basic knowledge of Internet Services: DNS and E-mail. • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and SNMP • Basic written communication and keyboard skills. • Outstanding verbal communication skills. • Outstanding organizational skills. • Able to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. • Basic understanding of application fundamentals • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN technologies.
