TKC Communications is seeking an Information Systems Engineer, Level III for an Agency located in Washington, DC.

Job Summary:

The candidate will assist in the systems engineering and program management support for the technical review of IT acquisition and risk assessment in support of the Agency through the Technical Review Working Group (TRWG). The TRWG is responsible for reviewing the technical aspects of all IT programs and projects. It identifies, defines and applies the necessary system engineering processes in the area of design consideration and analysis and ensures the proposed designs meet operational success. The working group provides a structured review process and confirms completion of requirements for entry and exit strategies for IT as defined in the Agency Life Cycle Management Directive.

MUST HAVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE

Systems Engineer, Level III - A Senior Systems Engineer, Level III, analyzes system requirements in response to business requirements, risks, and costs by evaluating requirement definitions, analysis, traceability, verification and documentation. Evaluate, select, verify, and validate system development and design, modeling and architecture. Monitor and evaluate performance of the systems environment to assess reliability, maintainability and lifecycle requirements. Evaluate new systems engineering technologies and their effect on the operating environment, workflow and system integration. Ensure information assurance security policies, principles, and practices are an integral element of the operating environment. Possess excellent technical writing and interpersonal communication skills. Experience with the Capability Maturity Model Integration, IEEE System Engineering and Life Cycle standards, Electronic Industry Alliance (EIA) 632, International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), and System Engineering Handbook, are required to assess technical projects through the system development life cycle. Masters degree preferred.
