Systems Analyst - Manufacturing
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead local production support for Oracle Manufacturing Applications.
2. Facilitate and actively participate in all production support activities as they relate to Oracle 11i E-Business Suite ASCP, INV, BOM, WIP, MRP and Project Manufacturing.
3. Identify and troubleshoot issues; train end users and develop test scripts and scenarios. Conduct conference room pilots for major upgrades and provide relevant applications and business expertise.
4. Work closely with Business Process Owners and End Users.
5. Recommend and educate on best practices related to various Manufacturing disciplines.
6. Provide application training to the Manufacturing User Community.
7. Maintain specifications and documentation for system usage.
8. Assist end users with conducting conference room pilot and acceptance testing as needed with additional functionality/releases.
9. Create specifications for reporting, applications extensions, and integrated 3rd party software solutions to meet business requirements.
Educational Background Required:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or MIS (preferred) or equivalent experience.
Educational Background Desired:
•MBA.
Work Experience Required:
• 2-5 years supporting and/or implementing Oracle ASCP/MRP/Purchasing/Inventory/BOM/WIP/Project Manufacturing (11.5.10).
• Familiarity of plant operations and the planning and supply chain process.
• Strong in depth functional understanding of MRP as well as advanced planning techniques and processes.
• Experience in supporting Oracle applications where competing priorities require prioritization of work load.
• Solid experience with Oracle's AIM or other ERP implementation methodology is required.
• Oracle Applications Certifications is preferred.
Work Experience Desired:
•Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, planning or logistics.
