System Administrator

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence. CGI is seeking a System Administrator to work out of our Quantico, Virginia location. CGI Federal is supporting IT services from the U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC). The mission of MCRC is to access young men and women to serve as U.S. Marines and to perform other tasks as directed by the Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC). MCRC requires information technology support in the realm of Enterprise Network Operations. The Network Operations Team is comprised of 3 divisions of support: Engineering, Administration, and Integration. The position is available for the Systems Administration Team providing Tier II support for the following systems and services:

Microsoft Windows Active Directory Domain Services
Microsoft Exchange Services
Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft Hyper V
Microsoft Windows Server
Microsoft Windows System Center Configuration Manager
Microsoft Windows System Center Operations Manager
Symantec Backup Exec
Microsoft Windows Distributed File System
Microsoft Windows Vista

A Bachelor's Degree or combination of equivalent work experience and/or training is required.

Additional Requirements:

• Possession of an Active Secret security clearance is required to begin employment; U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Approximately 2-5 years experience Windows System Administration is required.
• Experience with Linux administration desired.
• Must have Security + (or equivalent) certification.
• Must have vendor operating system (OS) certification (MCP, MCTS, MCITP, MCSE or Ability to work well in a team environment, promote customer service and handle complex technical issues.
• Ability to participate on 24x7 on-call.
• Experience with server hardening and security implementation strategies.
• Experience with System Monitoring Tools.
• Experience with blade server and/or server virtualization.
• Blackberry Enterprise Server.
• Hardware Support.
• Patch Management/Software Deployment.
• Active Directory Group Policy Management.
