Description:ResponsibilitiesInstalls, tests, tunes, maintains, designs and documents supporting systems, utility programs, monitoring tools, etc.Performs software product planning, evaluation testing and assists in planning hardware/software changes along with providing assistance to the technical, operational and telecommunications staff.Maintain and improve monitoring agents deployment, configuration thresholds, and licensing tracking and administration across all platforms for all customers.Evaluate and maintain hardware/software management and monitoring tools which will meet both the immediate and future needs of the customers.Provide vendor interface for system support issues and escalations.Provide system evaluation and operational reports.Create/maintain documentation and procedures for implementing management tools utilized by team members and other support groups which include operating system requirements and application requirements.Provide demonstrations, training and training material in area of expertise for team members, internal customers, external customers and support groups.Performs preventive maintenance.Maintain required compliance reports and scheduled delivery. Participates in ensuring that customer requests via the ticketing system are managed to closure.Complies with all standard internal controls and processes. Participates and follows all processes as defined by Alliance Data.Delivers results in support of achieving the organizations Service Level Agreements.Presents status reports to management team.Participate in development of total system solutions.Participate in product discovery, analysis and evaluation.Work with internal and external technical and non-technical customers to resolve design and implementation issues.Applies a high level of technical skill and expertise to complex systems software projects and problems of considerable difficulty and importanceAdvanced technical troubleshooting skills.Experienced interpersonal, organizational, customer service, computer and computer application skills.Advanced verbal and written communication skills.Ability to explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and fosters understanding.Excellent self management skills with proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the implementation of projects.Working knowledge of processes and tools utilized for system management, problem reporting, change management and support tools.Advanced knowledge of Enterprise mointoringTool Developer MindsetAbout the OpportunityProvide ongoing systems administration including installation, maintenance and troubleshooting on daily basis. Provide support to address the availability and reliability issues on systems (Windows/Unix/Mainframe) across multiple locations.
