Position Summary:  To increase top line vendor revenue and gross profit.  Provide vendor program, pricing, product, and promotion expertise in support of our sales organization.  Execute marketing campaigns, strategies, and tactics to drive business results.

 Key Responsibilities:

*             Provide Pre-Sales Support to the Telesales & Outbound sales organization on SYMANTEC products

*             Develop and maintain a high level of product expertise in the entire portfolio of SYMANTEC products

*             Obtain sales and technical certifications as required to maintain vendor authorizations

*             Be a subject matter expert on all vendor pricing programs, and provide direction to the sales organization on effective utilization of these programs to drive business

*             Conduct business analysis & reporting to support execution of sales plans, strategies and tactics

*             Develop, organize, and conduct sales training on SYMANTEC products and programs

*             Maintain a pipeline of all SYMANTEC sales opportunities

*             Proactively assist the sales organization in moving opportunities throughout  the sales cycle

*             Promote alignment between Softchoice sales reps and SYMANTEC sales teams

*             Develop and maintain strong a strong vendor relationship between SYMANTEC and Softchoice

*             Optimize up-sell and cross-sell opportunities by monitoring and following up on sales orders and quotes.

*             Interact and serve as an internal resource for all departments in facilitating the sales process of SYMANTEC products.

*             Conduct customer facing appointments, and provide phone based support to customers and to the sales organization to facilitate closing of new and existing business. 

*             Create, update, communicate key vendor information pertinent to sales as required

*             Represent Softchoice at SYMANTEC events

*             Act as an escalation contact for the Softchoice sales organization on SYMANTEC products



 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

*             Softchoice Sales experience an asset - minimum 1 year. Must have support of present manager

*             High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship build

*             Strong knowledge of SYMANTEC products and pricing programs

*             Solid relationship and understanding of Softchoice internal departments

*             College diploma/university degree or equivalent experience

*             Strong written and verbal communication skills

*             Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills

*             Ability to work both individually and in a team environment

*             Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment

*             Proficiency in MS Office tools - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

*             Experience in a sales position or Technology industry preferred
