Today, CA, formerly known as Computer Associates, serves the majority of the Fortune 1000 companies, as well as government organizations, educational institutions and thousands of other companies in diverse industries worldwide.We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Representative to join our Production Planning team at our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY.This position is responsible for completing the day-to-day operations within the Global Supply Chain organization by ensuring that all goods and services are produced efficiently and timely to the satisfaction of CA's customers. Key Responsibilities:* Coordinate the printing, replication, assembly and shipping of materials. * Review and monitor raw material and finished good inventory within assigned product lines. * Monitor production schedules to ensure key dates are met internally and by contracted suppliers. * Foster, and maintain relationships with key personnel within CA departments. * Coordinate flow of work within or between internal departments in order to expedite production. * Foster and maintain relationships with key suppliers. * Prepare and submit accurate work orders to management for review and approval. * Provide specific departmental administrative support on a wide range of issues and projects as assigned. * Assist in training less senior Supply Chain Reps. * Assist with special projects as requested. Required Skills: * Typically 2 or more years in a business environment. * Background experience in manufacturing, inventory or distribution preferred. * Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and within a team. * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. * Good communication skills. * Excellent problem solving and research skills. * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office. * Business or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
