JOB DESCRIPTION
Works independently, provides hardware, software, application, and limited network support for production and non-production environments.  Acts as the technical lead for a project.  Performs investigation and analysis to solve problems. Acts as a vendor liaison. (vendor management) Establishes / recommends policies on system use and services. Perform analysis to tune systems. Provides training and guidance to technical staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Provide on-call 24X7 support for production EBU environment Provide on-call 24X7 support for production Storage environment including SAN and NAS On-site hours Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00 Off-hours changes and weekend work as required (weekend work is about once a month) Some knowledge (1-2 yrs experience) of Storage internals and architecture Excellent communication skills in troubleshooting with customer including internal groups as well as development groups Minimum 5 years or proven working knowledge with the following: Legato Networker software including client configuration, Storage Node configuration, NDMP, License Manager, tape management Tape Libraries such as StorageTek L700, IBM 3584Minimum 2 years or proven working knowledge with the following: EMC Backup Advisor Windows 2000/2003, Redhat Linux, Solaris, AIX Hitachi SAN hardware including 9585, AMS500, AMS1000 EMC Celerra NAS hardware plus replication knowledge McData switch hardware plus knowledge of EFCM management software Falconstor VTL (Virtual Tape Library)Some working knowledge of the following: HP SAN hardware including XP 12K, XP 10K
