Proactively monitor call queues and prioritize daily activities. Provide general support on hardware and software problems Install, test, and maintain software and hardware components. Provide support for technical area of expertise. Provide 24 hour on call support as required Participate on project teams as needed Provide technical guidance to other staff members. Identify technical support trends, determine root cause and potential solutions. Participate in the development of life cycle management processes and recommend improvements. Participate with break/fix vendor management. Document system/environment changes. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and apply good problem-solving techniques. Strong knowledge of hardware, internals, peripherals, and software on platforms supported. Good understanding of validated or quality systems. Excellent judgment and customer interaction skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree in computer related field or 3+ years of relevant technical experience. Technical certifications preferred.
