Sr. Systems Administrator

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Ø  Detailed knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 2003, XP, and Linux and system networking is required. 

Ø  Experience with NetApp or other enterprise storage running on Fiber Channel or IP based infrastructure is preferred. 

Ø  Knowledge of blade architectures and administration a plus.

Ø  Experience in installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software/hardware is required.

Ø  Must possess the ability to ensure long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.

Ø  Under general direction, responsible for activities related to system administration.

Ø  Ensure long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.

Ø  Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software.

Ø  Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

Ø  Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills,  be customer- and detail-oriented, and possess good decision-making abilities. 

 

Position Location: Fairmont/Clarksburg area of West Virginia

 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required in addition to seven years of working experience in information technology. 

 

The current position is with Ideal Innovations, Inc.
