As a Linux System Administrator in our Sunnyvale Corporate Headquarters, you will be a critical part of our core IT infrastructure team. Your first first task will be getting up to speed on our technical infrastructure so that you may continue a high level of availability and performance for our users. The projects planned for this position in next 3 to 6 months are introducing redundancy in SAN environment (MPIO and EMC Powerpath), Linux server server virtualization, etc. Your comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux administration and EMC/SAN will be crucial to developing and implementing upgrades, developing infrastructure, managing and automating recurring tasks, as well as acting as an escalation point for our Helpdesk team. We thrive in a highly communicative environment and enjoy connecting and bonding with others. Your ability to build rapport with your colleagues, as well as your ability to accurately document and report technical information will ensure your success in this position.
