Job Description:

Daugherty Business Solutions is seeking Senior Java Application Architects for rewarding career opportunities. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects, and to coordinate the work of others.

qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s degree.

§ More than 6 years experience in relevant technologies, including working on large scale web application development.

§ Good knowledge of and experience with user interface design, visual design elements, web technologies and development methodologies.

§ Solid foundation in design patterns and UML.

§ Solid foundation in Agile methodologies.

§ Good knowledge in Object Oriented analysis, design and programming.

§ Experience using code versioning system.

§ Solid working knowledge of:

o  Java, J2EE 5, JMS, EJB3, JSF, Facelets and JDBC

o  HTML, DHTML, XSLT, XML and JavaScript
- AJAX
- BPM
- SOA
- Oracle and SQL


§ Experience with industry framework (Struts, Spring).

§ ORM tools or equivalent experience (Hibernate, iBATIS).

 

Responsibilities include:

§ Leading Architectural initiatives.

§ Mentoring team members and customers in software engineering and architectural best practices.

§ Technology leader for teams of 3 to 5 people.

§ Create software architectural specifications.

§ Develop new or maintain existing programs based on specifications.
Develop, implement and maintain unit tests of programs.
Key contributor in project planning, as well as design and maintenance of enterprise architecture.
