We are currently supporting a large healthcare insurance company with some of their key hiring needs and are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer/Environmental Support.Our client is in the process of creating a new parallel production mirror environment. They are looking for the candidate capable to work from day one to serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) able to develop and implement an infrastructure strategy for the new environment which will support a SOA Framework. Tasks:Develop an infrastructure strategy that will support the creation of a parallel production mirror environment and its associated requirements.Provide daily technical support for the new environment.Analyze and recommend improvements to support Environment Management and Configuration Management process initiatives.Support FTE SME’s in maintaining current environment and infrastructure.Create all necessary documents and communicate to the team in support of the project.Conduct training and knowledge transfer on new parallel mirror with FTEs. Required Skills:Infrastructure engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience with:Experience building robust parallel test environmentsEnvironment Infrastructure Build and Automation Database Mirroring experienceExtensive SDLC experienceMid-tier/mainframe platforms and their associated Operation Systems and Tools including:WebSphere MQ / MQ SeriesDB2 UDBUNIXAIXREXXEnterprise Service BusBusiness Rules EnginesSOAJavaSerena Tools SuiteAB Initio/ETL DevelopmentThe internal drive, intellectual curiosity, ability to learn, and desire to help the customers succeedStrong technical skillsComfortable working under Project Manager supervisionAbility to work proactively
