Sr. Functional / Application Analyst

Day to Day Work Conducts systems and requirements analysis, designs and develops detailed specifications for developers and prepares test plans and scripts in support of web applications. Ability to lead small projects and tasks. Hands-on do what ever it takes to get the job done attitude required. Must have excellent communication skillsQualificationsPrimary skill requirements:-Reviews and clarifies customer functional enhancement requests-Interacts with end users to clarify needs-Document users and systems requirements-Develop detailed systems specifications and designs-Reviews, analyzes production defects to determine requirements-Prepare regressions and systems test plans and scripts-Firm understanding of relational databases with ability to create and run queries to facilitate systems and problems analysis-Must have ability to query data to resolve problems-Participates in fully life cycle testing -Must have Excellent Verbal and written skills-Ability to independently plan, manage and execute tasks-Ability to lead projectsSecondary Skills: -Structured analysis and specification writing-Hands on use of Rational RequisitePro, ClearQuest a plus-Current position must be of similar nature-Ability to access and query data via MS Access and SQL-Willingness to become subject matter expert in application functionality and customer business process-8 - 12 years experience developing technical specifications Requirements:-Must have "Can Do - Professional Attitude" and Team player-Must have excellent communication skills-Detail oriented -Must be able to think and work independently-Willingness to work non-standard hours when requiredONLY US Citizens No Exceptions-Must pass a DOJ Minimal Background Investigation, MBI, Level 5 background investigation.
