Sr. Data Analyst with a Fortune 200 company - NEW!

The Sr. Data Analyst role offers a unique and challenging opportunity to work within the Storage business of the ECS division of this fortune 200 company. As a rapidly expanding business, this position is needed to gather, track and analyze data that will assist in the development of forecasts, dashboards and business trends. By working with the Storage business leaders to identify and track sales, you will provide the business with key insights into customer penetration by vendor, growth opportunities and program tracking. The role will be using multiple data sources and analytical tools such as data mining, data modeling, financial reporting and customized reporting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to design, develop and maintain relational databases while ensuring data integrity and creating ad hoc reporting to meet business needs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop tools and processes to extract data from multiple reporting systems. This will include liaising with IT and other users to gain a full understanding of Arrow’s data structure.
- Gather, track and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity
- Design, create and maintain Access databases and Crystal Reports
- Work closely with Sales management to create and standardize reports across all three vendor lines within the Storage business (reports include Dashboard, Forecast input/output, Sales by Customer, Sales by Region, etc.)
- Develop and maintain standardized reports which will assist the Storage business in monitoring operational metrics
- Develop ad hoc reports as required to meet business needs
- Actively participate in creating and improving processes and system implementations
- Maintain and update information in Salesforece.com software
- Work closely with Finance to ensure data reconciles to financial data, where applicable


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Finance or equivalent degree required
- 3-5 years related experience required.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills
- Strong interpersonal and influential skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Access)
- Proven ability to prioritize

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Oracle ERP/ eBusiness Suite.
- Distribution and/or Storage business experience
- Working knowledge of statistical techniques and methodologies.
- Crystal Reporting.
- Understanding of basic financial information.
- Sales interfacing experience.
