Sr. Access Authentication ID Manager/Engineer

Responsibilities

 

Client IT is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Sr. Web Engineer in our Philadelphia office.  The successful candidate will join our team responsible for authentication and access management services.

In this position, the successful candidate must demonstrate enterprise experience in design/delivery of distributed IT solutions to meet business requirements in a dynamic environment.

Responsible for installation, configuration of internal/external web based business systems encompassing test and production environments.

Must have ability to partner and work with business unit, vendor application development as well as diverse areas within IT in an on-going basis.

Must have capability to successfully bring together diverse areas of technology to deliver enterprise solutions.

The candidate draws upon professional experience to anticipate problems and propose sound solutions that address needs of the project.

 

Requirements/Qualifications

 

Required Skills:
- At least 5 years experience providing technical expertise in delivering system support, application support, system design, client/server computer connectivity and interoperability; hardware capacity planning, forecasting, utilization and implementation, in a 24-7 environment.
- Solid Sun Solaris experience (configuring hosts, understanding of virtual memory, file system concepts, processes, shell scripting etc).
- At least 3 years systems administration support of n-tier web-enabled application environments and technologies.
- At least 2 years Apache experience including Apache Reverse Proxy.
- Strong Experience with one or more of the following Directory Services implementations,  Netscape iPlanet, SunOne Directory Server, OpenLDAP, Active Directory.
- Strong Experience with one of more of the following IAM Products: Sun Identity Manager Access Manager, Oracle Identity Manager Access Manager, IBM Tivoli Identity Manager Access Manager, EMC RSA Access Manager (Cleartrust), CA Netegrity SiteMinder.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with management and configuration of J2EE application servers, Weblogic preferred.
- Scripting proficiency (Perl, Javascript, ksh).
- Experience with systems support and performance analysis of relational and object oriented database systems.
- Ability to understand software development life cycle development processes.
- Experience with support of Cisco networking equipment in an enterprise load balanced environment.
- Experience in a highly scalable and fault tolerant environment.
- Solid understanding of networking, and standard network applications (i.e. TCP/IP, ICMP, TraceRoute, TCPdump, etc.)
