Today, more than 46,100 customers in more than 120 countries run SAP applications – from distinct solutions addressing the needs of small businesses and midsize companies to suite offerings for global organizations.PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES As member of the Market Development team ERP in the Americas you will be driving ERP adoption and ERP footprint in our installed base with your team by providing 1) Thought Leadership 2) Field Enablement 3) Strategic Deal Support and 4) Relationship Management with Field and Partners. You will be the integral link between the field organization in the Americas and ERP product management. You will drive the the successful roll-out of SAP ERP solutions, achieving global goals, supporting the sales and pre-sales organizations with sales enablement and aligning the priorities with the field organization. This team is responsible for managing and planning the go to market, creating synergies and relationship management. As the primary face of development to the field and customers, you will also need to roll-in requirements back into SAP global development organization to ensure continued product innovation and development.EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS * Strong leadership skills and the ability to create and implement (internally & externally) a vision for SAP ERP. * Strong Relationship building and Networking skills * Strong customer focus * Business Process and planning experience * In-depth understanding of the Enterprise Software Sales Process/Cycle for a mature product * A specific focus on driving fast time-to-volume through sales and implementation enablement * Strong overview of the SAP ERP solution portfolio - the ability to drive high level discussions as well as drill down as necessary in specific solution areas * Proven C-level communication and presentation skills. * Proven leadership and strong team management skillsWORK EXPERIENCE * Minimum of 8 years of professional experience TRAVEL 50% plusEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * BS/BA Required, MBA Preferred * 4+ years Past experience supporting and enabling Enterprise Software sales processes and implementation processes for key stakeholders; sales executives, sales engineers, business development, internal and partner implementation consulting * 4+ years Past product management, pre-sales, sales, consulting experience with SAP and/or experience with a direct competitor to SAP – ensuring a strong understanding of the market, where it is currently and where it is headed * Product and/or process skills in Financials, Human Ressources or Logistics/Manufacturing.   Title: Solution Manager, ERP Market DevelopmentCompany: SAPLocation: Newtown Square, PA 19073Status: Full Time, EmployeeJob Category: Marketing/Product
