A Solution Architect (sales engineer) is a senior technical resource and solution expert for client engagements--responsible for the design of systems architectures and the design, scope and delivery of professional services to Corporate Technologies’ clients.  His/her primary responsibility is to serve as senior level technical “trusted advisor,” and provide presales engineering to Sales Executives including architecting solutions, proposals, and assist with responding to SOW, RFI, RFQ, and RFP requests.  The Solution Architect must have a complete understanding of the client’s business and technical requirements in order to design and develop a successful solution.  (S)He ensures the overall quality of the system architecture design, implementation, testing and deployment meets the company and the customer’s business requirements.  (S)He operates independently with only high level direction.  A successful candidate must be working or have worked in a pre/sales engineer role, engaging external customers and creating solutions to fill needs.  Candidate must have experience with systems or storage products and/or professional services. Competitive base salary at or above market with unlimited bonus potential.  Client sites are generally specific to the New England or New York/New Jersey area, depending upon location, which means you can still be home in time for dinner.
