EcomNets is currently seeking a Sr.Oracle DBA for a Federal Client. This position is located in Greenbelt, Maryland,

Must Haves:

1. U.S. Citizen/Greencard
2. 10 years of Enterprise Architect

3. BA/BS
4. Excellent Communication Skills

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience: A minimum of Ten (10) years programming experience

Description

xcellent communication skills, self-motivated, work well with little or no supervision and ability to work with others in a cohesive team environment.

Highly motivated Unix administrator (Solaris 8, 9, 10) with vast experience on
configuring the following hardware but not limited to E15K, E25K, V490, V240,
280R. This includes good working knowledge of jumpstarting domains or individual server with the requested OS, patch systems with the latest recommended cluster patch, Sparc OpenBoot PROM system troubleshooting. In addition, installation and configuration of Veritas. In-depth work experience with Veritas Volume Manger, Netbackup, Veritas Cluster Server, and Cluster File System.
Further experience with SAN EMC storage, install and configure HBA on host. Good technical knowledge on creating LUN and testing connectivity from host to SAN storage. Have an understanding of configuring configuring Solaris servers by utilizing containers and logical domains.

Unix tools: shell scripting, PERL, vi, awk

Additional knowledge of any of the following application is a plus: DB2connect, Qmail, Websphere,
SiteMinder/e-Trust, Apache Web Server, MQSeries, Tivoli.
Candidate must have a MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
