Software Engineer (C++)

Location: Scottsdale, AZ 85250 Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Expected Duration: 5+ to 7 Years Reference Code: 1001124080 JOB DESCRIPTION:Contribute to the development of various software products related to the company's business area.  Support and enhance existing products.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Design and development of new and existing product deliverables with minimal oversight and according to established engineering practices.Recommend and take ownership of changes in architecture and implementation that would lead to improved efficiency and/or maintainability of existing products.Interact with company clients and business partners to support deployed products.Work with management on dynamic items or priority issues.Research and recommend technologies and development techniques to keep products up-to-date with industry trends.Work with product test team for problem analysis and resolution.Participate in and contribute to a team environment.JOB REQUIREMENTS:BS degree with 6+ years experience in the software industry or 8+ years equivalent experience, with two or more of those years in a senior software engineering position.                Experience in software development according to standard software engineering principles and methods.Experience in software development using change management systems and techniques.TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:Development software experience using C/C++ and Java.Development software experience using SQL databases such as MySQL.Development experience using web servers such as Tomcat or Apache.Development experience using version control systems such as Subversion.Experience in user interface design such as for web pages.Familiarity with development in Linux environments.   Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
