POSITION SUMMARY

A software engineer responsible for a fast-moving technology development project to support application integration, application packaging and integration testing.

Â ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

This software engineer needs to integrate, build and test the application software the project team creates, and develop small modules, glue logics, installation scripts, integration test scripts/test suites to wrap around the core functions to ensure smooth integration and the readiness for functional test of the application software.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong J2EE framework expertise

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience and skill in open source build and integration tools such as RadBuild

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Good Linux/Unix shell, Python, and PERL scripting skills

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 3+ years of software development experience in Java

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Bachelors of Science degree

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Database backup and restore techniques

Â DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Prior customer-facing experience is a plus

Â·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Linux operating system development experience a major plus
