Scope




We are seeking an individual who will be involved in making online community management decisions and working to advance the current state of an existing Microsoft Office SharePoint Services 2007 intranet system. A strongcandidate will work with a team to make design decisions regarding which development techniques are best used in any given situations per the needs of individual departments, business units, and/or remote office locations using the existing SharePoint intranet. It is the responsibility of this candidate to coordinate and attend meetings with representatives from the various stakeholders to determine their needs and then make decisions on how to best proceed using the existing SharePoint intranet.




Required Skills




• 1-2 years experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Services 2007 with enough proficiency to make design decisions within the technology

• 3-5 years experience with Website design concepts (HTML, JavaScript, etc.)

• Proven ability to establish and maintain good relations with internal customers/project owners and communicate clearly with these representatives on all relevant tasks




Desired Skills




• Graphics Design proficiency is very desirable

• Microsoft .NET development experience

• An understanding of relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle

• 3 to 5 years of IT development work experience desired

• Approachable and willing to offer helpful solutions

• Multi-task between various types of work responsibilities

• Should handle constructive feedback well

• Familiarity with the oil and gas industry
