We are currently looking for the best talent available for a Share Point Analyst with a proven track record.  The purpose of this position is to design, develop, test, implement, enhance and support the enterprise Share Point environment, and establish appropriate policies and procedures in support of the environment.  It is located at our office in New Britain, CT.

 

Major Responsibilities:

·  Participate in meetings with user(s) to determine special requirements and scope of support.

·  Assist in the creation, enforcement, and monitoring of policies & procedures.

·  Develop and implement Governance Policies, and ensure global communication.

·  Facilitate and actively participate in technology activities as they relate to the Stanley Share Point environment.

·  Report on established SLA’s and conduct surveys.

·  Implement/Support Enterprise wide Share Point DAC(delete,add,change)

·  Participate in level-2 on-call support activities which include and are mot limited to configuring the servers, working the System Engineering with SQL server, and ensure communication with the Web Development team.

·  Train Site Admins and Associates and ensure process is followed.

·  Test, document and implement Share Point Infrastructure enhancements and corrections.

·  Monitor and resolve Share Point Collaboration and Portal system performance issues.

·  Assist remote offices in resolving and identifying system issues by providing Infrastructure knowledge and technical expertise.

·  Track all assets and software licenses associated with the environment.

·  Provide Trainers the material to train users in use of new PC and productivity applications and work with Corporate training to ensure Stanley University includes materials.

·  Participate in generation and maintenance of User documentation and online automated help.

·  Assist the Service Delivery Manager in the development of technical training plans for Customer support analysts and Site Admins and cross-training within the department.

·  Mentor/coach Analysts in detailed and technology design activities for career development.

Report to Manager weekly on status of development/maintenance projects.

Decision making as it applies to functional and detailed Portal environment.

Take necessary action to correct emergency situations.

 

Qualifications:

  4 year degree in Information Systems or Engineering

  5 plus years experience in Information Technology Systems;  minimum of 2 years of enterprise project design and management activities as related to client services. 

Production support experience in Customer support area.

Certifications in Sharepoint Technology

Strong written and oral communication skills

Working knowledge of SPS and productivity tools.

  Proven knowledge/experience of managing/coordinating activities of customer/user base.
