Service Support Representative 1/Bridge Facilitator

Unisys Technical Services is currently hiring for SSR1/Bridge Facilitator.

 

 

UNISYS TECHNICAL SERVICES has a position open for an SSR1/Bridge Facilitator within the Minneapolis, MN location.  The primary objective of Incident Management is to return the IT Service to Users as quickly as possible.  Maintaining IT Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction; and resolving incidents within established service times.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

o Detect and record incidents

o Classify incidents

o Provide initial incident support

o Prioritize incidents based on impact and urgency

o Investigate and diagnose incidents

o Resolve incidents and recover service per agree service levels

o Close incidents

o Maintain ownership, monitoring, tracking and communications about incidents

o Provide management information about Incident Management quality and operations

 

 

Ability to take control of a situation. Strong team-oriented focus. Ability to impart knowledge on various levels. Self-starting, self-motivating, self-learning work approach. Affinity for team-based action planning. Frustration resistant. Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with peers and customers. Ability to keep Supervision informed of real or potential problem areas and to provide resolution options. Minimal supervision required seeing a job through to satisfactory completion.


Key Requirements:

 

All applicants should have a minimum of 6 months experience serving on the helpdesk floor as a tech support agent, and a high level of performance in the areas of helpdesk metrics, technical expertise, attendance, and “can-doâ€� spirit. The ability to communicate effectively both written and oral is imperative, as well as efficient and accurate typing skills. Preferred educational background: College Degree and/ or completed A+ certification.  An extensive background check is required for this position.  On-call/24x7 support coverage is required.
