Senior .net Architect (strong backend developer)

Need a very strong Microsoft Certified Dot Net Developer in Houston, TX.The client needs a person very strong both in Back End and Front End. The person needs to know C#, ASP.NET, SQL SERVER, ADO.NET, Stored Procedures, Triggers.Excellent communication skills. Interview on Thursday. They like to have a person with Masters here from US or if from India then it must be an MCA.

§ Advanced VB .Net or C# .Net (3 – 4 years experience), preference is VB .Net

§ Advanced SQL and Stored Procedures experience in a MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005 setting (5+ years)

§ Experience architecting scalable solutions

§ Experience interfacing enterprise applications data to external vendor environments

§ Advanced Object Oriented Analysis & Design experience and capabilities

§ Experience participating in the planning, execution and validation of enterprise applications testing efforts (Integration, System, User Acceptance, etc.)

§ MCSD, MCAD, etc. certification, with solid .Net capabilities

§ Advanced Internet and Intranet software development experience (7+ years)

§ Large environment Fortune 1000 experience: Shell, AIG, Dell, USAA, Exxon/Mobil, Chevron Texaco, ConocoPhillips (not necessarily Oil & Gas, just large IT environments)

§ Bachelor of Science in Computer Science required, Masters in CS is good but not mandatory.

§ Experience on multiple medium to large projects in methodology-driven settings.

§ At least eight years of experience on full life cycle software development teams ranging from five to fifteen plus technology-oriented members (not including business unit project members)

 

Some other notes that the PM mentioned.  Communication skills.  Must be able to work with stakeholders so their comm. Skills have got to be superb. Education:  He prefers candidates have a Masters from the U.S. ..if not then he said having a Masters in CScience from India is the equivalent of one year U.S.  So if their Masters is from India it should be in Computer Applications, not Science. Experience in U.S. should be from 2000 to 2001 (Preferred) Must have strong SDLC and have worked across front and backend layers. 

Our PM will call them on anything that may be exaggerated on the candidates resume so they better have deep knowledge on anything their resumes states that is relative to this project need.
