Senior Voice Network Engineer!!

Are you a talented individual that is looking for a challenging contract opportunity in the Bellevue area? My client, a large e-commerce company, is seeking a Senior Voice Network Engineer to join their team to help design and implement voice infrastructure solutions. Job duties: -Partner with business customers and technical teams to engineer cost-effective, requirements based voice solutions that align with our client’s goals and strategies. -Design, develop and implement highly available TDM and IP voice systems that support revenue generating operations and mission critical applications. -Develop and implement engineering standards, systems and strategies within a Systems Development Life Cycle. .-Provide engineering support for multi-vendor clustered and stand-alone voice systems. -Write and contribute to project plans, author engineering level documentation, and develop detailed test plans. -Travel as required. Required Skills/Experience: -Must have experience with Avaya Communications Platform, Avaya Definity, Nortel Meridian, and Genesys 7.x software framework. -QoS knowledge & ability to describe how QoS settings affect Voice & Data traffic over the network. -Must be familiar w/VoIP tools: Clearsight, LANForge or Hammer, or Wireshark. -Basic data networking knowledge, routing & switching knowledge. -Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent education and experience -8 years of progressive technical experience designing, implementing and operating advanced multi-vendor telecommunications systems, applications and infrastructure in a globally distributed environment. Note: This is a 2 month CONTRACT to HIRE opportunity.
