Senior Systems Engineer / Project Manager

Bragg, NC.  This position may require shift work at any hour to include weekends and may require short deployments from time to time based on mission requirements.  The successful candidate must be a motivated, self-starter with a minimum of 10-15 years experience with network design, administration and engineering, computer applications support and implementation, and both computer and network systems development.The candidate will be tasked with enhancing and maintaining all aspects of a secure operational Department of Defense computer network.  The candidate will be responsible for providing input on network design, implementation and migration as required.  The candidate must be able to clearly communicate both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner.  Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are required due to continual interaction with clients, managers, and users with varying technical backgrounds in a fast paced deployable work environment.  The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of Cisco products and Cisco Network Architecture to include Quality of Service Configurations, Router / Switch Configuration, expert troubleshooting, capacity planning, and modernization of supporting systems.  The candidate will monitor the performance of the networks to ensure the most efficient operation and will troubleshoot network problems when they arise.Smartronix is committed to providing a comprehensive benefit package that allows its employees and their dependents to have choices with their benefit plans as well as coverage levels.
