Senior Subcontracts Administrator (9101)

A company dedicated to mixing superior people with state-of-the-practice technology to deliver consistently powerful results.DescriptionThe Senior Subcontract Administrator conducts preparation of subcontractor/supplier solicitations, subcontract negotiation and administration of major subcontracts and purchase orders. Analyzes estimates of service, material, equipment and vendor production costs, rates and/or pricing. Monitors subcontractor performance for conformance to the subcontract/order requirements and maintains continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the subcontract is in accordance with legal requirements, prime contract and subcontract/order specifications and government regulations. Prepares and disseminates information throughout the company regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination. Initiates documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with subcontract specifications. Prepares special reports and analyses as required. May provide work leadership for procurement team members.Required Experience

A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience, with additional training in contract law, and four to six years of government contract administration experience are requiredExcellent oral and written communication skills Seasoned negotiation skillsAble to demonstrate excellent analytical skillsExhibits sound business judgment taking into account true degrees of business risk versus rewardCompressive knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, CPSR and civilian agency supplementsExtensive knowledge of general corporate business practices and principlesAble to resolve complex contracts and pricing issuesAble to advise and interact with all levels of management, both internally and with the customerExperience and understanding of the Deltek Cost Point SystemDemonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Possesses the business skills and technical expertise to deal with the most complex subcontracts and business issues or situationsParticipates in business planning and strategy sessions as related to major subcontracts, programs or prime contracts
