Senior Security Architect

As a leading managed hosting provider for over nine years, NeoSpire specializes in providing mission critical managed hosting services. We are located in Dallas, Texas.

 

We are seeking a Senior Security Architect with strong technical skills along with the ability to create security solutions that maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of NeoSpire’s information assets. This position contributes to NeoSpire’s success by ensuring the protection of information and information resources.

 

This position provides day-to-day security consulting by conducting in-depth technical security reviews, risk assessments, and documenting recommendations for risk mitigation; providing guidance to system owners in the development and technical review of information security plans; developing company-wide security policy and guidelines; and providing technical guidance to information owners, customers, and colleagues.

 

Responsibilities:

 



·  Provide architectural and technical guidance to engineering and product development teams.



·  Design and prototyping of security systems and tools.



·  Working with senior leadership and engineering resources to develop corporate security strategy.



·  Working with customers and potential customers on security issues, including technical support during the sales process.



·  Technical lead for incident response and system forensics.

·  Participate in on-call rotation responding to security events outside of business hours.

Communication Skills:

·  Ability to document requirements and solutions in writing

·  Ability to communicate technical information verbally

·  Superior team and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interface smoothly with clients.

·  Excellent problem-solving skills.

·  Capable of performing in a high stress, fast paced technical hardware/software environment.



 

Experience Requirements:

 

·   In-depth understanding of security architectures and design principles as they relate to software, system, and network engineering.

·  Clear communication skills, including the ability to assemble and give presentations to an audience who will provide critical feedback during the requirements gathering, design, and development stages of a product’s lifecycle.

·  5+ years of IT security experience is required.

 

Compensation:

The compensation package is competitive and is based on experience and performance. Base salary + company bonus.
