One of our customers, a premier Maryland employer has an immediate need for a Sr. Data Analyst to join their team.

 

Responsibilities:

* Understands complex business requirements and concepts

* Translates those requirements into technical system requirements

* Implements those requirements by creating complex stored procedures, tuning queries, and indexing tables, etc.

* Has the ability to learn systems quickly

* Leads, mentors and develops the skill set of less experienced SQL programmers working on the project

* Writes and communicates ideas in a clear simple manner

* Shows initiative, drive, and most importantly is able to both maintain focus on the big picture while also demonstrating a commitment to the details

Requirements:

* Experience developing system flows, system modules, overall system architectures with a track record of designing, developing, delivering systems and projects in a medical environment.

* Strong abilities with the tools utilized in data analysis and related software implementation (SQL Server Enterprise Manager, Visual Studio.NET, etc).

* Highly capable of handling challenging IT/data system, file manipulation and integration.

* Bachelor degree in business, computer science, or related field.

* Ability to emulate the role of a user and remain objective in giving definition to product feature enhancements.

* Exceptional problem solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills to resolve issues during the product development cycle.

* A solid understanding of web technologies, relational databases and multi-tier applications is expected.

* Database design, implementation experience, including Entity Relationship and Functional Hierarchy Diagrams.
