Senior SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant

CGI is actively recruiting for a permanent, full-time Senior SAP PM Consultant to join their team based in South West Ontario.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the largest SAP practices in Canada.

KEY ROLE:
The Senior SAP PM Consultant will be responsible for all activities involved in supporting one of the biggest SAP installations in Canada. The support activities required from the PM functional will encompass at different level: process mapping, designing, configuration, requirement gathering, writing functional specifications, user training, documentation, on-going maintenance and enhancements.

The individual will be professionally familiar with the SAP ERP System specifically in the areas of Plant Maintenance.

Responsibilities include the development of necessary functionality to allow for business process operations, training & support, evaluation of the effective utilization of the software within the business and the development of strategic plans to improve the business utilization of the software and improvements to the business process.


REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years Functional / Configuration experience in all areas of PM
- Experience working on IS-U projects
- Define and write specifications including: Configuration, User Exit, Custom program, report and SAPScript.
- Work in a team leadership role to enhance current processes.
- Configure, present, and discuss SAP PM best practices and functionality.
- Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules: SAP SD, FI, PS, MM


TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Expert understanding and experience of SAP R/3 4.6x, 4.7 and ECC 5.0 PM with at least 5 years experience.
- High level of knowledge of SAP R/3 integration points


SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with NetWeaver Environment a definite plus
