Title: Senior Product Manager, Mobile Resource Management #65717 Location: San Rafael, CA Autodesk Location Services solutions help wireless carriers generate new revenue and lower churn through enabling location-based services (LBS) and applications in their subscriber's mobile devices. Within a year, every mobile device manufactured will have embedded location technology. Autodesk has established itself as the leader in enabling that technology into useful applications fundamentally changing how people interact. POSITION SUMMARY This strategic leadership position is responsible for driving the strategy, direction, and delivery of our Autodesk Insight product that is used by enterprises to manage and locate their resources in the field. This role requires high-level interaction with internal teams, customers, and partners to define, build, and market location based services at Autodesk. PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop business plans, product strategy, pricing and MRM product positing in the marketplace. Perform competitive analysis and help build roadmap and strategy based on the feature gaps Define market requirements, product scope, and product specifications for Location Services MRM and related enterprise applications. Validate product requirements and roadmap through market research and strategic customer negotiations. Interface with engineering and sales to develop new products and enhance the existing ones. Maintain a product roadmap and evaluate product life cycle issues to determine enhancement or retirement strategies. Interface with quality assurance, operations and customer care to ensure products developed meet quality standards and customer specifications. Articulate and evangelize the vision and product strategy to optimize profitability and uptake in market, both internally the Autodesk Location Services organization and externally to the target customers. Support the development of core marketing programs such as sales tools, public relations, advertising, and demand generation activity. REQUIREMENTS Strong background in the asset management, asset tracking and mobile resource/field force management area. 5+ years experience in product management role for an enterprise software organization Understanding of marketing research and demographics analysis techniques Proven track record of bringing new products to market and growing them BS or equivalent degree; MBA or equivalent preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
